  Are you going to school for photography? Aren’t you a little old to be a freshman in College for goodness sakes?

  I am going to school at the Pacific Northwest College of Art and I went at first for photography but have since changed my direction to communication design. I am 22 as of 2010 and started my college adventure at the Colorado State University as a swimmer. At the end of my sophomore year it was time to move on, so I made a list of the scariest things I could do with my life and ended up applying to art school. Wa-La! 

  Who is The Musician? 

  I was trying to pull myself together and gather all my marbles…all the while working at a coffee shop in my little-how-town. He walked in. Such a dapper, handsome man! and touched my soul. 2 years later….we are squeezing our way into life in Portland OR. Adventure seekers, loves, the musician and the artist. 

  What is my “style” when it comes to photos? 

  You know that moment where you think “Oh I shoulda had my camera! That was too cute!” or “These sweet little moments are the things I want to remember…”…? THAT is the photographer I am. I do not own a studio, I only use natural light, and the major slice of my photos is just playing. I want the photos to be memories, I want the moments to shine through, I want chance to be caught and for that feeling to be captured like a lightening bug in a jar. I want kisses and hugs, laughing and tears, subtle looks and winks, hopes and dreams, thoughts and launching of imaginations….I want all of that in my photos. 

  How much does this whole Mei Ratz shenanigans cost?
